Unloading device of a self-propelled harvester

The discharge device has an outlet pipe (1) mounted on a screw conveyor which is driven during an emptying process and whose outlet end is provided with a central bearing holder (3). A flap (10) is pivotally arranged around the rotational axis (11) in the end region of the outlet pipe. An actuating device is transferred selectively from open position into closed position and vice versa such that the axis of rotation of the flap is within the cross-section of the outlet pipe. An independent claim is included for method of controlling discharge device.
