<p>The device has a control board (1) on which a user (6) is located, and a leg frame (3) for sliding on a snow surface (25). The board is designed as a bending resistant, single-piece element with a flat control board sliding surface (5). The board or the sliding surface extends over a surface extension of body parts of the user. The board has supporting surfaces in a rear area, where the user is supported with fore arms on the control board, a chest board and/or the leg frame in a lying position.
