SAFEGUARDING SEED SAFETY OF TREATED SEEDS

The present invention relates to a method to overcome negative effects of the treatment of seeds with insecticides, acaricides or nematicides on the germination of seeds and vitality of seedlings. The inventive method markedly enhances germination and vitality of seeds that are treated with insecticides, acaricides or nematicides. The present invention describes a method that at least comprises the following steps:
1) Hydration of the seed
2) Followed by drying of the seed
3) Followed by a treatment of the seed with insectieidal, acaricidal, or nematicidal compounds
