<p>The product has a strip-like core (2) made of an airlaid. Particulate superabsorbent (3) i.e. coarse-grained powder, is distributed above the core. The superabsorbent is arranged outside a central region (4) of the core. The superabsorbent has higher concentration in the central region of the core than in side portions (5, 6) of the core. The core comprises a central strip portion, where longitudinal side of the central strip portion includes a lateral wing portion. The superabsorbent is arranged between the central strip portion and the wing portion.
