<p>A speech-outputting device is controlled for along with the following of a particular itinerary presenting information items associated to the itinerary in speech to a user person. In particular, the information items as relating to multiple itineraries in textual representation in a random accessible memory facility (32) located in a motor vehicle by adding to such information items a location marker (60). Then, a relevant location (30) of the motor vehicle is determined. Among the information items one or more are selected as pertaining to the relevant location.
