摘要 A method for allocating a pilot in a multi carrier system is provided to easily support a high speed mobile terminal, to estimate a more wide ranged channel change, to get the terminal to enter an idle mode in a specific sub-frame, to enhance a system throughput in various situation of the high speed mobile terminal, and to vary the system throughput and BER performance by adjusting transmission power and the number of hidden pilots in case of using pilot arrangement. A method for allocating a pilot in a multi carrier system comprises the following several steps. A dedicated pilot is allocated. A hidden pilot is allocated by performing data process for a part among data to be transmitted to a receipt side. The remaining data among the data is allocated. The dedicated pilot is allocated by a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) scheme or a scattered type. In case that the data is transmitted by the unit of a sub-frame composed of plural OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols, the dedicated is allocated to the first OFDM symbol.
