PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing air holes in a contact lens is provided to form a plurality of air holes with the same diameter in a desired pattern in a contact lens. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing air holes in a contact lens comprises an air hole forming unit(110) and a position changing unit(130). The air hole forming unit comprises a laser generator(112) and a processing head(120) which projects a laser beam output from the laser generator to a contact lens placed in a holder so that air holes are formed in the contact lens. The position changing unit comprises a holder fixing jig(132) fixing a holder in which a contact lens is placed and X- and Y-axis moving units(138a,138b) which moves the holder fixing jig in X- and Y-axis directions as shown on the plane, thereby forming a plurality of air holes in a desired pattern in the contact lens. |
