The rotation speed regulation device is provided with an algorithm that is designed for determining the coupling temperature for a control coupling, changed continuously in the speed, in the form of a fluid friction coupling (20). The fluid friction coupling is driven permanently with a computing element provided with a logic unit with a comparator for comparing the control speed with a set rotation speed. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a system with a rotation speed regulation device; (2) a regulation coupling for driving a fluid-flow machine; (3) a cooling system with a fluid-flow machine; and (4) a method for speed regulation for a coupling.
