CAPACITOR SENSOR COMPRISING LAYERED ELECTRODE AND METHOD OF OBTAINING MAGNITUDE AND DIRECTION OF FORCE USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A capacitor sensor and a method for obtaining the size and direction of force using the same are provided to measure the size and direction of external force generated in the surface of a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor(100) is comprised of an incompressible synthetic dielectric elastic body and has two faces. An electrode is comprised of first electrode units(110,120) and second electrode units(130,140). A first capacitance measuring unit and a second capacitance measuring unit are respectively connected to four electrodes. The first capacitance measuring unit and the second capacitance measuring unit measure change amount of the capacitor according to the change of a cross area of electrodes of the first electrode units and electrodes of the second electrode units.
