PURPOSE: A cutting device and a cutter of rectangular plate features are provided to prevent the rectangular plate features from being cracked or cutout. CONSTITUTION: A cutter of rectangular plate features comprises a cutter head main body, a cutting pressure applying tool and a detecting tool. The cutter head main body supports the cutting device. The cutting pressure applying tool exerts pressure upon the surface of the rectangular plate feature. The detecting tool detects whether the cutter is in touch with one edge of the rectangular plate feature or not. When the detecting tool detects the contact of the rectangular plate feature with the cutter, the cutting pressure applying tool exerts pressure upon the cutter on the surface of the rectangular plate feature. The cutting device of the rectangular plate feature comprises a position detecting tool, a comparing tool and a judging tool. The position detecting tool detects the location of the cutter. The comparing tool compares a location which is detected by the position detecting tool with a predetermined range. |
