摘要 <p>PURPOSE: Porous manganese oxide-based lithium absorbent with a spinel structure and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to adjust the size or the density of pores formed in shaped bodies by adjusting reaction temperatures, reaction times, and the amount of an additive in a thermal treating process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing porous manganese oxide-based lithium absorbent includes the following: an additive and water glass are added into a lithium-manganese oxide precursor reactant to obtain a mixture; the mixture is thermally treated to obtain lithium-manganese oxide precursor shaped bodies; and the shaped bodies are treated with acid. The additive is at least one selected from carbon powder, carbon nano-tubes, polyethylene, and polypropylene. Pores are formed in the shaped bodies by decomposing the reactant or the water glass and generating gas in the thermal treating process.</p>
