<p>The invention relates to a simple circuit arrangement for generating an audible tone in a speaker (20) of a communication terminal. In order to largely use components already present in the communication terminal, the inventive circuit arrangement comprises an electronic circuit device (10) provided with a microphone input (11), a speaker output (15) comprising a power amplifier (14) disposed upstream, a connection (18) on the communication network side, and a controllable side tone path (13) between the microphone input (11) and the speaker output (15) and furthermore a generator (30) for applying a supply voltage or an alternating current signal in the audible range to the microphone input (11). The invention furthermore relates to a method for generating an audible tone in a speaker (20) of a communication terminal and to a communication terminal.</p> |
