VOC REDUCING APPARATUS FOR OIL TANKER

PURPOSE: A VOC reducing device for an oil carrying ship is provided to maintain the pressure of a vertical pipe higher than vapor pressure by adjusting the opening degree of an outlet of an extension pipe connected at the bottom of the vertical pipe when oil is initially loaded in a cargo tank. CONSTITUTION: A VOC reducing device for an oil carrying ship(100) comprises an extension pipe(110), an opening/closing plate(120), and an opening degree adjusting device(130). The extension pipe is horizontally extended from the bottom of a vertical pipe(30). The opening/closing plate is rotatably installed in the end of the extension pipe and opens and closes an outlet of the extension pipe. The opening degree adjusting device pressurizes the opening/closing plate to control the rotation of the opening/closing plate so that the opening degree of the outlet of the extension pipe can be controlled.
