PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation between layers of a laminate for improving the capacitor performance, in an electrical double layer capacitor which includes the laminate constituted of a positive electrode body, a negative electrode body and a separator interposed in between them and a vessel sealing the laminate, together with an electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: The capacitor includes an insulating interior component 30, which is configured by a substrate 32 and a side board 33 for regulating the circumference of the laminate 35 set up on the substrate, into a box shape, wherein a surface facing the substrate 32 opens; and a band 31 for winding the interior component 30 and the laminate 35, engaged with the inner side thereof and banding them together.
