A vehicle comprising a secondary supplementary brake (SR), a range gearbox (R), a control unit (CU), and an indicator unit which is situated close to the range gearbox and is adapted to delivering indicating signals which indicate the state of the range gearbox. When the indicator unit delivers a signal to the control unit indicating that a range shift is to take place, the control unit is adapted to regulating the braking force for the secondary supplementary brake downwards to a predetermined low level according to a predetermined pattern. |
