PURPOSE: An input classification providing method, apparatus, and computer readable recording medium are provided to improve user convenience by automatically recommending consumption classification corresponding to the consumption category of an account book. CONSTITUTION: An input analysis unit(121) analyzes itemization. An indexing unit(122) constitutes indexes using an analysis result. An arrangement unit(123) arranges a classification corresponding to each category using the indexing results. A candidate list creation unit(124) creates a candidate classification list using the arrangement result. The indexing unit constitutes an indexing based on the consumption category of all users according to the analyzed categories.
