PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink feeding mechanism whereby the choke cleaning function can be exerted well even when an ink cartridge is set in the vertical direction, and to provide a recorder equipped with the same. SOLUTION: In the ink feeding mechanism 71, the ink cartridges 12 which store ink of each color are set in the vertical direction, and the ink is sent to an inkjet head from ink supply needles 115 and 116 connected to each ink cartridge 12. A choke valve 121 is installed halfway of each passage between the ink supply needles 115, 116 and the inkjet head. The choke valves 121 are made a valve unit 122 united in a state while arranged in the vertical direction along an arrangement direction of the ink cartridges 12.
