Method and assembly for creating a direction-dependent modulated signal and method and assembly for determining the angle of such a direction-dependent modulated signal and optical location system working with same

The method involves additively superimposing individual signals of a number of transmission channels with directional radiation pattern. A direction-dependent transmission signal (x-t, [phi]) is accomplished by additive superposition of the channels under account of directional characteristic. Gain factors are generated according to the function and provided with corresponding delay time. A real-signal is generated at a central position and the each transmission channels is supplied with different delay times that are measured in a receiver. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for determining a direction angle (2) an arrangement for generating a direction-dependent modulated signal (3) a positioning system for determining a position of an object, body and/or a person within a positioning range applicable in closed chambers.
