PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to compensate for a location change of a black matrix due to an external touch or a partition mask, thereby increasing uniformity between pixels. CONSTITUTION: A protective film(Passi) is formed on a frontal side of a gate insulating film. A pixel electrode(PE) and a common electrode(CE) are alternatively formed on pixel areas of the protective film. A dummy electrode(DE) is connected to the common electrode on the protective film. The dummy electrode is parallel to a data line on the protective film. The dummy electrode comprises a portion overlapped with a shield line and another portion arranged in a pixel area.
