SILVER-COATED GLASS POWDER FOR ELECTRICAL CONDUCTION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PASTE

PURPOSE: A silver-coated glass powder for conduction, a manufacturing method thereof and conductive paste are provided to have optimal dispersibility and conductivity suitable for the conductive paste. CONSTITUTION: A silver-coated glass powder for conduction is formed by attaching a surface treating agent and has silver content of 10 mass% or higher. The surface treating agent is one or more selected from benzotriazol, fatty acid and salts thereof. A manufacturing method of silver coated glass powder for conduction comprises the following steps: sensitizing the glass powder by using a tin solution; dipping the glass powder in which tin is adhered to the surface into the silver solution; segregating the silver on the surface of the glass powder; and coating the surface of the glass powder with the silver by adding a reducing agent and a silver coloring agent to the silver solution. The surface treating agent is added to one or more processes before, during and after coating the silver.
