<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of performing consumption processing on regenerative electric power using a small-scale, low-capacity regenerative resistor. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller includes: a converter circuit which generates a bus voltage; an inverter circuit which converts the bus voltage applied across itself into an AC voltage of arbitrary level and frequency and supplies the AC voltage to a motor; a regenerative circuit including a series circuit of the regenerative resistor connected in parallel to the inverter circuit and applied with the bus voltage across itself and a regenerative transistor; and control means of turning on the regenerative transistor so that when the bus voltage exceeds a predetermined value owing to the regenerative electric power from the motor, the regenerative resistor is made to consume the regenerative electric power. The control means performs variable control over an ON time rate of the regenerative transistor according to a regenerative load rate as a state of the regenerative circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
