<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector which eliminates the need to press a grommet in a connector fitting hole of a connector fitting plate, has superior mountability of the grommet, and further prevents the grommet from being damaged due to a load operating on a connector housing through a cable. <P>SOLUTION: A lever 30 which fits and connects a first connector housing 10 to a second connector housing 20 through rotating operation is formed in a different body from the first connector housing 10, and also has one end coupled rotatably to a connector fitting plate 3. The grommet which secures watertightness to the inside of the first connector housing 10 has a lever coating part fitted and mounted on the lever 30, and in a state in which the connector housings are completely fitted to each other through the rotating operation of the lever 30, a lip part at the outer periphery of the lever coating part comes into tight contact with a peripheral edge of the connector fitting hole to secure the watertightness to the inside of the first connector housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
