<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a method, a program and a recording medium capable of improving calibration accuracy of a parameter of a parallax direction which affects distance measurement accuracy, and improving the distance measurement accuracy of a stereo camera. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing device of the present invention obtains a photographic image pair photographed by a stereo camera, parallels the photographic image pair using conversion information, and searches for corresponding points of the paralleled photographic image pair. Then, the image processing device calculates a parallax value of the photographic image pair using the corresponding points, and when it is determined that calibration of the conversion information is required, the image processing device calibrates the conversion information into the conversion information which takes account of rotational deviation of a camera forming the stereo camera. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
