<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor decorative material laying structure capable of preventing foreign matters such as rainwater or polluted sludge entering through joint clearances from arriving at the laying surface. <P>SOLUTION: In the floor decorative material laying structure whose unit type floor decorative material bodies 1, each including a plan-view approximately rectangular frame body 11 having leg parts 13 to form an underfloor space between the laying surface and itself and floor decorative material 10 mounted on the upper face of the frame body 11, are laid side by side to form the joint clearances G facing the underfloor space between the adjacent floor decorative materials 10, extending plate parts 12 each having a grooved receiving portion 121 formed in its upper face opening are provided on the side faces of the frame bodies 11.
