<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tooth profile component, a manufacturing apparatus for a tooth profile component, and a tooth profile component, capable of extending the life of a forming die. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a differential side gear 12, an R-like part of a material 10 is caused to abut with a tooth profile forming part 26 of a tooth profile forming die 16, and a boss part 48 of the material 10 is inserted in a recess 36 of a recessed die 18. A load is applied along the axial direction toward a central portion 27 of the material 10, so that a component of the material 10 is caused to flow toward the outside in radial direction, to form a bevel gear part 11. At that time, the boss part 48 is caused to flow toward the inside of the recess 36, and a component of an intermediate portion 52 of the material 10 is caused to flow toward the inside of a material escaping part 32, to form a projection part 56. At the time when the load is maximum, a space is provided between the bevel gear part 11 and the tooth profile forming part 26, and between the boss part 48 and the recessed die 18, and further between the projection part 56 and the tooth profile forming die 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
