<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-constituted imaging device that is available even in an environment with many light disturbances. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 takes an image of a subject A to be illuminated by a light L, and generates depth information showing a depth value of the subject A, reflection characteristic information showing a reflection characteristic of the subject A and illumination information showing conditions of the light L as image processing information. The imaging device 1 comprises: a camera C for taking an image that can be treated as a stereo image; the light L; and an image processing information generator 100 for using the image taken by the camera C to generate the image processing information. The camera C comprises: a lens including two polarizing filters with mutually-perpendicular polarization directions; a polarizing beam splitter; and two imaging elements for imaging light that is split by the polarizing beam splitter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
