<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a communication system between on-vehicle equipment and a mobile phone" that automatically breaks radio communication between the on-vehicle equipment such as a head unit and mobile phone when a user who uses a hands-free function by connecting the on-vehicle equipment and radio communication means to each other when bringing the mobile phone into a vehicle gets out of the vehicle and walks carrying the mobile phone with him or her. <P>SOLUTION: The user of the mobile phone is detected in walking with a signal of an acceleration sensor that the mobile phone has under a predetermined determination condition of walk rhythm detection etc. When it is determined that the user is walking when making radio communication connection and using the hands-free function through hands-free means, radio communication breaking means breaks the radio communication.
