摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a battery which has high durability against charge/discharge cycles. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a battery according to the present invention, the battery includes an electrode configured such that a mixture layer including an active material 22 and a binder 52 is held by a collector 10. The method for manufacturing the battery includes: a step of preparing a binder solution including the binder 52 and a solvent 54; a step of coating the collector 10 with the binder solution to form a binder solution layer 50 on a surface of the collector 10; and a step of forming a mixture layer by applying a mixture paste 40 including the active material 22 and a solvent 24 from above the binder solution layer 50 to be dried.
