<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier based on electrochemical reactions, which is excellent in durability, consumes little electric power, and is hardly subject to the restriction of applied voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The dehumidifier 10 includes an MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly) 7 including a solid electrolyte 1 and a porous fuel electrode 2 and a porous air electrode 5 with the solid electrolyte sandwiched between them, and a power supply electrically connected to the MEA.
