<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable local memories, used between any apparatuses connected to any network, to be related to each other. <P>SOLUTION: In profile data 4A, a network type of a connection destination and a predetermined parameter are described for each apparatus. In memory assignment rule data 6, a memory assignment rule, using the parameter described in the profile data 4, is described for each network type. An apparatus configuration management section 8 extracts a parameter described in the profile data 4 of an apparatus connected to a network type that is a target of a memory assignment, and displays the extracted parameter together with a corresponding apparatus so that setting information for identifying a local memory of the apparatus is input for each parameter.
