<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when the quantity of unpolished rice or unhulled rice charged into a feed hopper is a little, there is a case where the state of charging unpolished rice or unhulled rice cannot be detected accurately by a sensor, so that it is difficult to maintain accurate operation control. <P>SOLUTION: A coin-operated rice polishing machine is configured in such a manner that the operation thereof is controlled by: providing a spiral gutter 4 which faces a bottom of a feed hopper 2 into which unpolished rice is charged, via a feed port 3; providing, at a position close to the feed port 3 of the feed hopper 2 and in an upper part of the front side of a direction of conveyance performed by the spiral gutter 4, a front sensor 5 for detecting the presence/absence of unpolished rice; and providing, at a position in an upper part of the rear side of the feed hopper 2, a rear sensor 6 for detecting the presence/absence of unpolished rice. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
