<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical device capable of suppressing heating in a main body unit. <P>SOLUTION: In an electrical device, a power supply unit 20 can be attached to and detached from a main body unit 10, and includes a power supply terminal 21a for supplying power to the main body unit 10 and a charging control circuit 25 for controlling voltage output from the power supply terminal 21a to the main body unit 10 to be supply voltage determined in accordance with battery voltage of a secondary battery 13. The main body unit 10 includes the secondary battery 13, a voltage adjustment circuit 12 for adjusting the supply voltage received from the power supply unit 20 to the battery voltage of the secondary battery 13 and outputting the voltage, and a control circuit 16 for obtaining the battery voltage of the secondary battery 13, determining the supply voltage in accordance with the obtained battery voltage and giving an instruction to the charging control circuit 25. The secondary battery 13 is charged by power output from the voltage adjustment circuit 12.
