<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly display map information. <P>SOLUTION: A map information display device 1 includes a GPS 2, an input device 3, a memory 4 storing map information, a navigation device 5 and a display 6. The navigation device 5 includes a search function 51 for searching for a destination, a display function 52 for performing display control on the display 6, and a route guide function 53 for displaying a travel route from the current vehicle position to the destination. The display function 52 includes a destination icon representing the destination, a nearby facility icon representing a nearby facility, and an integrated icon formed by integrating the destination icon with the nearby facility icon. Normally, only the integrated icon is superimposed on the map information.
