<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend information similar to selected information even in the case that an information user selects arbitrary information. <P>SOLUTION: In the case that information indicating an information selection result by a user is sent from client terminals MS1-MSn, in an information recommendation processor SVa, a concept specifying part 214 reads, on the basis of the received selected information, a concept having a link to the selected information from an information database 32 of an information storage device SD. Then, an instance importance calculation part 215 sets an interest class for the read concept, calculates class intensity from intensity information and an interest rate of the interest class, and calculates an instance importance from the class intensity and content link intensity information of the selected information.
