PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a ceramic electronic component and a ceramic electronic component are provided to properly manufacture a ceramic component by using an external electrode. CONSTITUTION: A planting layer which consists of first and second external electrodes is formed by performing a planting process. A ceramic body and a conductive media ball are inserted in planting liquid. A conductive media ball(20) is touched to an internal electrode(11) in the plating process. A process for forming the plating layer is performed in an electrolytic planting method. The electrolytic planting method simplifies a manufacturing process by omitting a pre-process.
