<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of enhancing the workability when the optical module is attached or removed, and preventing electrical contact of an FOT and a shield case. <P>SOLUTION: An optical module 21 comprises an FOT (Fiber Optic Transceiver) 23 having an optical element, a resin FOT case 24 for holding the FOT 23, and a shield case 25 which covers and shields them. When the FOT 23 is held by the FOT case 24, a protrusion 42 on any one of the FOT case 24 or the FOT 23 is hooked to a recess 31 in the other of the FOT case 24 or the FOT 23 and held in place, and/or the FOT 23 is held by the holding part 40 of the FOT case 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
