<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a library device, a cartridge and a hand mechanism capable of achieving a lock mechanism that certainly locks the cartridge in a storage part and an unlock mechanism that certainly unlock the lock mechanism in a compact configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A library device comprises: a storage part that has a lock hole in which a lock member provided on a cartridge is fitted and that locks and stores the cartridge by fitment of the lock member in the lock hole; a holding part that holds the cartridge and is engaged to the lock member; an arm that supports the holding part at a tip and inserts/removes the cartridge held by the holding part in/from the storage part; a first motor that moves the arm in the direction of the cartridge insertion/removal; and a second motor that moves the holding part so as to move the lock member to a position where the fitting between the lock member and the lock hole is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
