<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool capable of suppressing impact of engagement when a reduction gear ratio is changed and capable of rapidly and smoothly completing reduction gear ratio change. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power tool includes a motor 1, a reduction gear mechanism part 2 and a reduction gear ratio switching means switching the reduction gear ratio of the reduction gear mechanism part 2. The reduction gear mechanism part 2 is formed by using a switching member 7 which is freely slidable in an axial direction and a gear member 5 which can be engaged with the switching member 7. The reduction gear ratio switching means has a reduction-gear actuator 6 sliding the switching member 7, a load sensing part sensing an operation load state of the reduction-gear actuator 6 and a control part controlling the motor 1 and the reduction-gear actuator 6. The control part starts the reduction-gear actuator 6 and temporarily reduces or increases rotary power of the motor 1 according to the sensing result of the load sensing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
