<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To verify the validity of a long-term signature efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A long-term-signature group comprises a package of long-term-signature data and an information file. The package of long-term-signature data consists of original data and an XAdES, which is long-term-signature data for the original data, compressed into one file. The information file contains a hash value for the package of long-term-signature data, an expiration date of an ATS used in the XAdES, a distribution point for revocation information, a serial number of the ATS, and the like. The hash value can be used to verify that the package of long-term-signature data has not been broken up, the expiration date can be used to verify that the ATS has not expired, and the revocation information can be obtained from the distribution point therefor to verify a validity of the ATS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
