<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional information processing system requiring a dedicated device disposed to a television device for researching a viewing rate of a television program. <P>SOLUTION: A program viewing-information processing device includes: a program viewing-information reception part for receiving program viewing-information; a program specification part for specifying a program by obtaining information related to a program corresponding to each piece of program viewing-information, the information resulting from applying each piece of program viewing-information received by the program viewing-information reception part to one or more electronic program table; a program viewing-statistical information acquisition part for statistically processing one or more pieces of program viewing-information corresponding to each program, for each of specified program, to acquire program viewing-statistical information; and a program viewing-statistical information output part for outputting the program viewing-statistical information acquired by the program viewing-statistical information acquisition part, whereby the device is capable of researching a viewing rate in a wide range, acquiring information other than a viewing rate (a numerical value), and accomplishing various statistical processing without needing to dispose a dedicated apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
