<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus capable of solving the following problem: the initial composition of coating liquid changes during a coating process and hence physical properties and quality change due to sedimentation, aggregation or poor dispersion of particles during coating, in a roll coater that applies coating liquid to continuously running band-shaped base. <P>SOLUTION: The coating apparatus includes: a manifold block 1 for storing coating liquid; a micro gravure 4 for transferring coating liquid onto a base; a static mixer 8 installed on the bottom wall of the manifold block 1 and coating liquid supply piping 9; and a defoaming and deaeration device, a coating liquid tank, a liquid feed pump, a filter and mass flowmeter, used for circulating coating liquid discharged from coating liquid discharge piping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
