A SECONDARY STOP CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A secondary stop system for an elevator is provided to extricate passengers from the elevator in emergency shutdown by guiding the elevator to an elevating passage door using a primary stop system when the main power source is cut off. CONSTITUTION: A drop prevention means(10) is horizontally combined with the inner wall of an elevating passage. The drop prevention means is composed of a drop prevention block(11) and a moving unit(12). A sensing means(20) senses the opening of an elevator door(81) and an elevating passage door(71). A subsidiary power supplies power to the elevator door and the elevating passage door when the main power is cut off. A controller drop an elevator by unlocking a primary stop system(90).
