FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metal pressure shaping, and namely to manufacture of flat flanges on tube workpieces when uniform distribution process is being performed. Moulding tool includes puncheon for distribution of tube workpiece located between upper and lower plates. Pushing puncheon is installed on upper plate. Matrix for preliminary swaging forms cylindrical part of workpiece. Flat flange shaping assembly of the item is formed of bottom, sectional matrix and wedge mechanism consisting of wedges rigidly fixed on sectors of sectional matrix, which are concentrically located relative to each other, and pressure ring, with possibility of shaping of flat flange of the item by means of metal flow during forming to cavity between sectors of sectional matrix and bottom. Upper plate, matrix for preliminary swaging and shaping assembly of flat flange of the item are spring-loaded relative to each other by means of compression springs with possibility of vertical back-and-forth movement and shaping of workpiece. ^ EFFECT: obtaining of flat flanges on tube workpieces and increasing service life of workpiece material. ^ 4 dwg
