<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a stress in a pedestal on which a lens for extracting light efficiently is installed, in a light-emitting component having a light-emitting element array where multiple light-emitting surfaces are arranged in a row. <P>SOLUTION: On the light-emitting thyristors L1, L2, L3...(opposite side of a substrate 80), spherical lenses 92 are provided, respectively, with cylindrical (round tubular) pedestals 91 interposed therebetween. The pedestal 91 is provided on the periphery of the light-emitting surface 311 of the light-emitting thyristor L1.
