<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device, a positioning method and a program therefor permitting, when a predetermined geographical point is to be reached or passed, accurate positional data of this point to be reflected on the result of positioning. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning device comprising position calculating means (S2 to S6) that calculates an estimated current position based on intermittent measuring of an absolute position utilizing positioning satellites and consecutive measuring of relative displacements by a motion sensor; geographical point registering means; positional range determining means (S14) that determines whether or not the estimated current position calculated by the position calculating means is within a prescribed range from a registered geographical point; reached state distinguishing means (S15) that distinguishes a prescribed state that suggests the possibility of having reached the registered geographical point; and current position deciding means (S16) that decides, when the positional range determining means determines that the estimated current position is within the prescribed range and the reached state distinguishing means distinguishes the prescribed state, the registered geographical point to be the current absolute position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
