<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unvulcanized tire having an inner liner which achieves improvement in uniformity and internal-pressure retention performance of a tire by effectively preventing joint cracking, likely to occur during molding or after molding, in order to flexibly correspond even to the tire size having a high inner expansion coefficient while contributing to the cost reduction by effectively utilizing the existing equipment, and a pneumatic tire. <P>SOLUTION: The unvulcanized tire is manufactured by a method including a process in which an inner liner, comprising a laminate having a resin layer and a rubber layer, is wound around a molding drum while overlappingly joining the other end of the inner liner onto one end of the inner liner at both ends of the inner liner.
