<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanoparticle ink composition which can be fired on various base materials by light irradiation and from which an electroconductive pattern having satisfactory electrical conductivity can be formed, and to provide a method for producing the nanoparticle ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The nanoparticle ink composition includes: a Cu nanoparticle; the nanoparticle of an Ag compound; an organic dispersant with which the Cu nanoparticle is coated; and a dispersion medium in which nanoparticles including the Cu nanoparticles coated with the organic dispersant are dispersed.
