<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-combustion hot blast stove that has a simple structure and is capable of reducing pressure loss of fuel gas or combustion air supplied. <P>SOLUTION: The top-combustion hot blast stove 1 is equipped with: a mixing chamber 6 also serving as a burner; and a regenerator 3a that is located below the mixing chamber 6 and is communicated with the mixing chamber 6. A fuel-supplying pipe 7 for blowing the fuel gas into the mixing chamber 6 is connected to the mixing chamber 6, with its opening located inside the mixing chamber 6, and an air-supplying pipe 8 for blowing the combustion air into the mixing chamber 6 is connected to the mixing chamber 6, with its opening located inside the mixing chamber 6. The fuel-supplying pipe 7 and the air-supplying pipe 8 are arranged in a manner such that they blow the fuel gas and the combustion air, respectively, in directions different from each other in a planar view, thereby forming a swirl flow in the mixing chamber 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
