<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of switching preload continuously or in a stepwise fashion as necessary while enhancing stiffness of the whole system, without making the axial length longer, and capable of maintaining superior bearing rotation accuracy, and to provide a rotary table of a machine tool and a spindle device provided with the bearing device. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing device includes a pair of angular bearings 24 having a contact angle α, and a sleeve 30 having a pressure chamber 35 formed therein, the pressure chamber being fitted to the outer peripheral face 22a of an outer ring 22 and supplying pressured fluid. An annular outer circumferential groove 33 or annular inner circumferential groove 34 of the pressure chamber 35 is formed to cross an extension line CL of the contact angle α. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
