<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple type hair cosmetic which can enhance the softness of scalp and improve the touch of hair, and to provide a method for treating hair with the multiple type hair cosmetic. <P>SOLUTION: The multiple type hair cosmetic is characterized by including a hair cosmetic (A) containing a polyalkylene glycol and having a water content of ≤1 mass%, and a hair cosmetic (B) containing at least a higher alcohol, a cationic surfactant and water.
